Through the press releases of both the mobile operators, it is now confirmed that Aircel and Airtel will launch the much awaited iPhone 4 in India. Earlier, instead of Aircel, it was Vodafone which has always been associated with Apple since the launch of iPhone 3G back in 2008. It was only iPhone 3G which launched in India after few months of release of international (US) launch. However, the overall sales were disappointing i.e they were not as high as per the demand. This could be the reason why Apple never considered India on top of the priority for early releases.
What so ever the reasons are, we will finally be able to see an official iPhone 4 launch in coming months. A specific date or month is still unknown for the release. We will keep you updated once we get more info on it!
