Yes, you heard it right! Apple has officially announced through the press release that it will launch the much awaited iPad 2 in India on April 29. It is definitely hard to believe as Apple released the iPad 1 in India exactly one year of the USA launch. Along with India, Apple is also releasing iPad 2 in Hong Kong, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, UAE. China will get only the Wifi version on 6 May.

No doubt that these prices are comparable with the US dollars. You may save few bucks through the foreign purchase but buying iPad 2 in India is just another feeling.
