The rumors of low cost iPhone which lost its momentum few months back have started emerging once again. As per the latest report from Reuters, Apple is in all probability to unveil a cheap or low cost version of iPhone 4 at the end of September. It is assumed that another version of an iPhone which would be massively low on tech specs as compared to current generation might help the company to target medium range market. Unlike US, people in these countries doesn’t able to afford an iPhone due to non-availibility of contracts.
According to the report, Apple may want to push a mid range smartphone in the market which would help its customers to switch from a low end smartphone to mid end or from high end to mid end. The price range of much awaited low cost iPhone could lie in between $150-$200. At this range, it would be a fantastic device for people who always wanted to try out one of the world’s largest selling device. However, the price may start from $200 if it features 8GB of internal storage.
It is also expected that Apple would launch an iPhone 4S/5 with a 8 megapixel camera, a better antenna and a much bigger touch screen. What are your views on it?
