SFPD Asks Surveillance Footage From Bar Owner, iPhone 5 Lost Prototype

According to a report from CNET, SFPD has asked owner of the bar where an Apple employee lost yet another iPhone prototype to show the surveillance footage from that day. This footage would help the officers on how they cooperated with Apple to search for the lost iPhone prototype. The owner of the bar, San Valle told CNET that SFPD visited their bar last week with a message that they wanted to see the surveillance footage from July 21 and July 22 as a part of their investigations.

However, San Valle already have the video but trying hard to get in touch with the investigators again. Though, a spokesperson from SFPD told CNET that Apple has not filed any case on another lost iPhone prototype and they have no idea what’s actually going on internally. Earlier reports suggested that Apple did track the location of its lost iPhone, cooperated with SFPD to raid the house but nothing was found anywhere. If the news is authentic, Apple should have taken all important steps to maintain the security of the device.
