iCloud is Now Open For Public, Comes Out Of Beta

iCloud which Steve Jobs introduced at the WWDC 2011 is a key feature of iOS 5.0. The next generation of operating system will hit iTunes 10.5 anytime, though we expect it arrive only after 10:00 PM IST due to the difference in Time Zone between US and other countries. The feature has been opened for all. However, earlier it was available only for developers with a limited storage to test the beta builds of iOS 5.

Personally, i’m using the iCould from quite sometime now after upgrading my iPad to iOS 5 GM. Needless to say, it is an amazing experience. At the start, it guides you how to setup the iCould feature on your device. Once setup, go to settings>iCloud and turn on all the important things which you want to be synced with iCloud.

In a matter of minutes (depends on the bandwidth) everything will be uploaded to iCloud. If you have logged in to another device with same Apple ID, your stored data will be pushed seamlessly to all other devices without the need of syncing with iTunes. Even ‘Find my iPhone/iPad’ works with iCloud. Try it from here
