Redsn0w 0.9.9b6 Released For Windows, Fixes iOS 5 JailBreaking Issues [Download]

After Redsn0w release for Mac, it’s time for Windows users to rejoice. For the first time after Sn0wbreeze, there is a tool available for windows users which would allow them to create a custom firmware on their operating system. This is not all. Almost all functionality has been included from DevTeam that can also let you fix several issues which you were experiencing previously.

Redsn0w 0.9.9b6 aimed specially for Window users where they can restore their device with custom firmware. Obviously, use the Dfu mode from Redsn0w itself to restore your iDevice. For iPhone 3GS users who are on 6.15 BaseBand, the network crash has been resolved after turning ‘On’ location services. Now, you don’t even need to restrict yourself even from setting up location services from the initial setup.

In addition to these functional fixes, DevTeam has released some cosmetic fixes too. These cosmetic fixes includes the visual countdown  which you see while putting your device in DFU mode. If you are on iPhone 3GS old bootrom, please select the ipsw file to re-jailbreak the device again. Otherwise all other iDevices owners need not to select the ipsw in Redsn0w 0.9.9b6 to JailBreak the device.

Of course, you can re-jailbreak again by de-selecting the cydia or you need to uncheck all boxes while re-jailbreaking your iDevice on iOS 5. However,  JailBreak for all devices except iPhone 3GS (old bootrom) is tethered.
