Within few days of iOS 5 Beta 1 release, Apple has seeded yet another iOS 5.0.1 beta to developers which aims at fixing battery life with many other improvements. Currently, we are not sure about the changes in iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 as compared to iOS 5.0.1 Beta 1. Neither anything has been mentioned on the developer website. It seems that it would have some minute fixes which were left behind.
If you are a developer, you can test iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 on your device. Otherwise, normal users need to wait for some more days before it hits iTunes software update button. Until we doesn’t come to know what’s new about this firmware, we would assume the same improvements such as addition of multitasking gestures for the iPad 1, battery life issues with certain iPhones after upgrading to iOS 5.0 etc.
As per the frequent beta releases of iOS 5.0.1, it appears that Apple is all set to release the final version really soon. However, nothing can be said right now. Another software update might be available for developers until everything is sorted out properly. What do you think?
