i4Siri: Legal Port Of Siri For Devices Other Than iPhone 4S is in The Works [Video]

Few days ago, Apple released iOS 5.0.1 mainly to target iPhone 4S battery issues. In addition to it, they forgot to encrypt those files which could be responsible for porting Siri to devices other than iPhone 4S. The information came from MuscleNerd, one of the known iPhone hacker in iOS community who had released several JailBreak tools and unlocks in the past. Knowingly or unknowingly, it was predicted that people would try to port Siri on iPhone 4, iPod touch and iPad and the work has already started.

Due to the fact that these files are unencrypted, the Siri port would be completely legal and doesn’t support piracy in anyway. You can checkout the video above where Siri port is perfectly working on iPhone 4. However, some work still needs to be done for iPod touch 4G. The name of the port would be called ‘i4Siri’ which will be available exclusively from Cydia. These people are also trying to make a proxy server which should prevent you from any unauthorized access and keep your data secure.

In the video, the person clearly differentiate between the iPhone 4S which is white in color, a GSM iPhone 4 in black color and an iPod touch 4G. Out of these three devices, only iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G are JailBroken. It is not the first time when it has happened. Though it is only legal this way. We think that people would be able to use Siri on devices other than iPhone 4S in the near future. And the efforts have already been started. What do you think about it?
