DigiTimes: iPad 3 Battery Life Would Be Double Than That Of iPad 2

Before the release of any next generation product from Apple, DigiTimes also come into action and predict about the possibilities. As always, they have predicted about the tech specs of the next generation iPad, that is, iPad 3. According to them, iPad 3 would have a battery life which would be double than that of the iPad 2. Needless to say, it’s the next big challenge for the company.

Currently, iPad offers 10 hours of battery life on one charge. However, due to the difference in the usage from person to person, the battery life could vary. Many players in the tablet market have been able to come close to Apple, but no one has reached upto that level. That’s why iPad is constantly dominating other vendors year after year. If this prediction turn out to be true, it would change the phase of tablet industry.

In addition to it, DigiTimes also reports that Apple is all set to unveil two iPad’s in the January. One iPad would be a high-end model, with better tech specs and other one with mid-range. Undoubtedly, the high-end model would have double the battery life of iPad 2 which should be near about 14,500mAH from 6,500mAH. They also believe that the prices of Lithium polymer battery will remain at par even in 2012.

What do you think about it?
