Apple TV Will Run iOS Applications in Full Screen Mode After JailBreak [Video]

It’s not been a long time when we told you that Apple TV would be running iOS application in the future. All this will be possible only after an untethered JailBreak on the latest firmware. Fortunately, today, hackers have been able to show some progress over their success to run these applications. Now, you can run iOS applications on Apple TV in full screen mode.

All thanks to Steve Troughton-Smith and @TheMudKip for developing such an awesome tweaks which has turned it into reality. To show this, they have also made a video where native applications such as Facebook, Maps, Safari and YouTube are running in a full screen mode. For this purpose, the hackers have developed an another launcher which was targeted to bring the stretched screen functionality.

Currently, the full screen method is not an IRC remote input and they are controlling everything with the help of either VNC or SSH. It seems that the work would be completed soon and Apple TV owners could actually use their JailBroken devices. It is also assumed that all third party apps including Games would support the full screen mode. Are you excited about it? Let’s know in the comment section with your views.
