The long rumored media event which was assumed to be scheduled at the end of January has finally been confirmed. However, Apple has scheduled the event next week, that is on January 19 where it is expected to focus on publishing, advertising and other services. AllThingsD has always been credible when it comes to their sources. In the past, they also came up with an event where Apple unveiled the much awaited next generation iPhone.
This Apple media event would take place at Guggenheim Museum. It is also rumored that SVP of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue would tell us about the upcoming additions in App Store, iBookStore, iTunes Store etc. For the second time, an event would happen away from Silicon Valley to focus on Education and probably, their tie up with the publishers. The first time Eddy Cue was seen for the launch of Daily.
Until now, Apple is not all involved with any publishers to release books on their iBookStore.
