Foxconn And Pegatron Have Begun The Production Of iPad 3, Shipping in Early March?

Some different sources have already told that we can expect that launch of the next generation iPad in early March. Foxconn and Pegatron have been major suppliers of the units of Apple products and there is no doubt that they would come into play in iPad 3 as well. According to Macotakara, Foxconn and Pegatron have begun the production of next generation iPad.

Apple might hold an event either in Cupertino or San Francisco to unveil the next generation iPad in March itself. We have heard from other sources that Apple would launch iPad 3 on the birthday of Steve Jobs to give him another tribute. Though, these are only rumors and none of the source seems authentic about it. Anyhow, Macotakara sources have resemblance with previous sources in terms of design.

When the production of the parts have started, Apple might have send some information to the case manufactures. The report says that iPad would look the same from the front side. However, it could turned out a tad thicker from some places, close to 1mm. Those case makers who had no gaps in their cases could find difficulty in using the same for the iPad 3. On the other hand, the case makers with gaps might fit in them. So, they don’t need to re-manufacture the slot.

Whereas, the smart cover would fit perfectly even on the next generation iPad. Some sources have called it an iPad 2S or iPad 2HD and the first lot would use LCD’s. What do you expect from iPad 3? Let’s know in the comment section.
