As we told you earlier, Pod2G had figured out the issues which caused iBooks and launchd to become non-functional in A4 based devices. To fix the same, Corona has recently received an update in Cydia that allows you to use iBooks yet again. All those folks who had JailBroken untethered their iPhone 4, iPad 1, iPod touch 4G etc should install it over the previous version.
Also, those who untethered JailBroken using the Redsn0w can install latest version of Corona to get things working. The news came from Saurik on twitter. If you had installed any other tweak to make iBooks work, we would suggest you to uninstall and install Corona. If you install Corona over the top of any pre-existing tweak, it might mess up with the system files. Hence, leading you to restore.
We had also told you about a method which made iBooks a system file. Many couldn’t have been able to delete it even after uninstalling the tweak. They can manually SSH using iFunbox or any other softwares to delete it from their iDevices and install it again to apply the appropriate patch.
