Apple is Expected To Unveil iPhone 5 in June At WWDC 2012

Unlike previous year where the whole of the WWDC was software centric, Apple is expected to unveil the much awaited iPhone 5 at WWDC 2012 in June. It’s always been a trend of the company to come up with new iPhone along with the release of upcoming major software update, but things turned altogether different last year. Fortunately, the company might return to the same schedule once again in 2012.

The rumor came from Chinese language commercial Times who have quoted Dawa securities for the claim of iPhone 5 to be unveiled in WWDC 2012. According to them, the iPhone 5 would include the same touch panel glass architecture which constitutes the body of iPhone 4S. Eventually, this would also benefit Apple touch panel suppliers such as TPK Holding and Wintek. A similar report from 9to5Mac came earlier which hints towards the same event in June.

WWDC 2012 may happen from June 10 to June 12. The event should be kicked off  by the Apple’s new CEO Time Cook unveiling successor of the iPhone 4S with a revamped design. Also, once can expect iOS 6.0 with some amazing features which would carry a whole sequence of releases in 2012. In addition to it, an iPad 3 with quad core processor and LTE is all set to be unveiled in March.

What do you think about it all?
