iPad 3 Prices Would Remain The Same As That Of iPad 2

Generally, after the release of new generation products such as iPod or iPad, Apple never hype prices. Instead, the prices of the old generation products are replaced with that of the new ones. But it was rumored earlier that iPad 3 would cost much more than the current generation iPad. Now, 9to5Mac sources claims that the previous rumors were inaccurate and the prices would not cross the current benchmark.

Perhaps, these sources also revealed the model no. of the upcoming iPads which are expected to be announced through a special event on 7 March. They also added that the configuration would remain the same, that is, the next generation iPad would come in 16, 32 and 64 GB variants. It clearly contradicts a report from Digitimes which suggested that the configuration could change to 8, 16 and 32 GB from this year.
