iOS 5.1 Untethered JailBreak May Arrive Soon, iOS Hacker is Finding Vulnerabilities

In a reply to someone on twitter, @Pod2g, an iOS hacker has revealed that he is working actively on finding vulnerabilities for iOS 5.1. Earlier, Pod2G was responsible for bringing the first ever iOS 5.x.x untethered JailBreak for A5 & non-A5 devices. However, the tethered JailBreak for A4 devices still exists due to Limera1n’s bootrom exploit which can’t be killed with the software updates.

To release the JailBreak for A5 based devices, Pod2G had to form a legendary team with popular hackers such as MuscleNerd, P0sixninja, etc. There might be a probability that they need to gather under one roof again and work for the release of an untethered JailBreak on iOS 5.1. Nevertheless, nothing has been confirmed on it yet. At the moment, it is known that as soon as Pod2G is successful in finding the exploits for iOS 5.1, the untethered JailBreak won’t be far away.

This doesn’t mean that you should update your iOS devices to iOS 5.1. But those, who have lost their JailBreak intentionally or unintentionally have a ray of hope to revive their JailBreaking days again. Let’s know what do you think about it in the comment section.  Stay tuned for more updates!
