Pod2G Says iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak is Releasing In Few Days

Good news for all the Jailbreakers who have updated their device to 5.1/5.1.1 without saving SHSH blobs for 5.0.1 or lower firmwares and are waiting for the untethered Jailbreak. Pod2g recently tweeted thanking @Planetbeing and @Pimskeks for their contributions. He also hints that the Jailbreak is days away from release.

Just recently Pod2G  has mentioned the list of iOS devices which would be supported in his upcoming untethered JailBreak for iOS 5.1.1. Also, it seems that both iPhone 3GS and iPod 3G would support the iOS 5.1.1 untethered JailBreak from day one. Once the JailBreak is released, Redsn0w would hopefully be updated to include the functionality for custom firmware, so that users could preserve the baseband once again.

If you own an iPhone 4S and rely on SAM unlock method, you would be able to activate your iPhone on the respective sim with the validation tickets. Ultrasn0w users shouldn’t not update directly using the iTunes if you don’t want to upgrade the BaseBand.

So guys the wait is about to get over and iPhonehelp is surely going to bring to you all the recent updates on the Jailbreak scene. Join us in the comments section to discuss the things you’re gonna do once the jailbreak releases.
