While we were hearing rumors from plenty of sources that Apple might refresh the Macbook Pros, iMacs and Macbook Air in WWDC and one of its most prominent feature could be Retina displays. Today, one of its proof seems to have accidentally appeared on Mac App Store where an application called FolderWatch has been updated to include the Retina Graphics support.
Nevertheless, there could be many reasons behind the application to be updated with Retina Graphics prior to WWDC. One of them is the fact that the application was submitted long back and Apple has approved before it was actually meant to be live. Another one is that Apple has already notified the Mac OS X app developers to make their applications retina display ready ahead of WWDC, so that they are available for users from the day one.
Also, FolderWatch has been Apple’s Staff Favorite in the Mac App Store. Perhaps, due to this reason the developers had acted early from the usual schedule. At this time, it’s not possible to contact the developers and ask about this immediate update. However, all we can do is to wait for few more days until Apple’s CEO Tim Cook kicks off WWDC on 11th June and unveil some amazing products.
