Would iPhone 3GS & iPad 1 Get iOS 6 Or Not?

Well, till now this is a rumor. But i don’t think it would remain a rumor for too long. Apple will reportedly cut off its support for iPad 1 which does get all of the updates since its release and has almost all the features which are being ported to other iDevices. However, on the flip side, iPhone 3GS would get iOS 6, which was released even before the iPad 1 and gets all the software updates from Apple.

A Chinese site called ‘WeiPhone.com‘ claims to share the hosting of Apple’s next iOS 6 beta seeds from Apple and Safari 6 developer preview. Needless to say, this kind of leaks have appeared in the past and they have been proved credible last time as well. In these links, we have iOS 6 Beta downloads for iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, new iPad, iPod touch 4th generation, Apple TV 2nd and 3rd generation.

Here, it should be noted that the support for iPad 1 and iPod touch third generation is missing. Hence, there’s a probability that Apple makes these devices obsolete from its list and discontinue the software updates altogether. It may sounds a tad weird for many people because iPhone 3GS is out of the list which means that Apple still have plans to make the device work on the next major mobile operating system.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to confirm this claim. But to wait for WWDC tomorrow where Apple would unveil iOS 6 features, notify Mac OS X users about the release date of Mountain Lion, and perhaps, release new Macs with retina display. What do you think? Let’s know in the comment section.
