Almost all major players are releasing Android smartphones in low to mid-range segments. Most of them have either pre-installed Ice Cream Sandwich or Gingerbread. These vendors including Samsung, HTC, Micromax etc are providing premium specs in low range as well. Now, Micromax has released another Android smartphone in this lineup called Micromax A80 Infinity smartphone with Android 2.3.

Unlike other Android smartphone in this segment which have 600 Mhz processor manufactured into the devices, Micromax A80 infinity smartphone comes packed with 800Mhz of processor, a 3.6 inch display, 5 megapixel camera on the back  and a 0.3 megapixel camera on the front. The most interesting thing about Micromax A80 is that it has 2500mAh battery which claims to provide 7 hours of talk time and 288 hours of standby time.

Similar to Galaxy note, this Android smartphone has one of the largest battery to last for long duration. It’s one of the most prominent feature of Android smartphone in a low range segment which is not found everywhere. Since Android phones tend to consume battery a tad faster, you would definitely want to have a look at it. It also supports Dual Sim capability and micro-sd card.

It has been priced at Rs 8,490. Let’s know what do you think about it in comments.
