iOS Hacker Aims To Bring Google Maps Application On iOS 6 [Video]

Since iOS 6 has gone public, everyone from all over the world is cribbing about Apple Maps. The drilled down detail in these maps are horrible and for many countries, there’s no detail at all. In fact, most of the places are not labelled properly, that is, one can see things marked on the surface of water. Apple Maps are more of a degrade than an upgrade from Google Maps. Due to which it’s expected that Google would release a Google Maps application on App Store.

But until now, there’s no news on it yet. However, it seems that an iOS hacker, Ryan Petrich has already ported Google Maps from iOS 5.x to iOS 6.0 on an iPhone 3GS. According to him, these Google Maps are not stable yet. There might be some glitches here and there, but we would be able to see it fully functional in future. Perhaps, the popular iOS hacker could release Google maps application in Cydia in the form of a tweak.
