iOS 6.1 Public Release is Vulnerable To iOS Hackers Exploit, JailBreak Could Be Released On Sunday

Finally, the day has arrived which was being awaited by the team of iOS hackers called ‘evad3rs‘ to make JailBreak a reality on the latest firmware. Apple has seeded the final version of iOS 6.1 for all over the world to download via OTA or manually through iTunes and we have the confirmation that all those exploits which were being used by iOS hackers to JailBreak beta build works on iOS 6.1 final as well.

And iOS hacker, @planetbeing who is a part of the team tweeted that the exploit is vulnerable even to the final release of iOS 6.1. However, they need to merge and polish the code before releasing the JailBreak to public. As expected earlier, they need to work a tad more before it’s entirely ready for all JailBreakers to download.

Also, all those who want to update to iOS 6.1 and looking for a JailBreak can do it without any issues. This means that it’s completely safe for all devices to be upgraded to iOS 6.1, but it would be better if you could take the manual path of upgrading in iTunes instead of OTA. Another tweet from MuscleNerd suggests that Apple TV 1 and Apple TV 2 can both be covered in this JailBreak on iOS 6.1. On the other hand, Apple TV 3 would still be left behind.
