"Google Now" Might Soon Be Seen On iOS

An Engadget reader has tipped them about a possible launch of Google Now for iOS users that will be integrated right into the Google Search application on iOS. Google Now, which was touted to be a direct competitor to SIRI has soon surpassed SIRI in functionality and usability. Many users confirmed that Google Now understands and performs better than SIRI for general tasks. The new version of Google Now is a smart personal assistant that pops up information depending on a user’s search history, location data and usage history.

The video posted above is a copied version of the actual leaked video by Google that was posted on youtube and then taken down quickly. The video seems to be quite genuine and there isn’t much doubt over it but we can’t really assure of Google Now to launch for iOS due to various factors including Apple’s approval process. Check the video below to compare with the Android version of Google Now.

This is yet another feature that iOS users crave for apart from Google Maps. After a long anticipation Google released the iOS version of Google Maps which in many ways seems to be more usable than that on Android itself! We hope that Google Now will be up for grabs soon for iOS users.
