Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Says Apple Watch Will Fail

Are you excited about the new Apple Watch? Yes? Well, Steve Wozniak is not!
According to Apple Inc. Co-founder Steve Wozniak, the Apple Watch is not a revolutionary device and will find its place among Apple’s other failed products like Apple Tv. He recently opened up about his thoughts on the forthcoming smartwatch and robot technology in an interview. Wozniak appeared to be unimpressed by the pricing of the Apple watch which ranges from $350 all the way to $17,000. This type of variability was unheard at the time Apple was managed by Steve Jobs as he believed in offering a single product for the whole market. He even went on to state that he would be buying the cheapest Apple Watch as and when it becomes available.

Wozniak also appeared to be excited about Apple potentially developing vehicles and elaborated that Apple must diversify in order to sustain its ever increasing employees. Recent reports suggested that Apple was poaching automotive engineers from Tesla and plans to start vehicle production by 2020. Wozniak also added that he would wait and then give his final verdict on Apple Watch after using it for some time. He also added that there was no real differentiator between the Apple Watches except the material and finish of the band.
In the interview, Steve Wozniak put his money on Artificial Intelligence and even said that AI would eventually take over from the human race in times to come. He also added that this could be good or bad for the human community depending on the chain of events. He isn’t sure if people will win or lose once robots take over. He jokingly said if AI technologies end up treating people like pets, he’s going to treat his pet extra nice.
Steve Wozniak has been a favorite of scientific community because of his views on hitherto unexplored technologies. You can read the full interview here.
