Motorola has released several smartphones this year such as Moto C and C Plus, Moto E4 and E4 Plus, Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus, Moto Z2 Play and Moto Z2 Force. And, the company is now rumored to debut the Motorola Moto X4 as its next smartphone. Motorola will be holding an unveil event on Aug. 24. Rumors are rife that the Moto X4 will be unveiled through the upcoming launch event.
The Moto X4 is an upper mid-range smartphone from the company that will come with IP68 certified body with a glass rear. It will be coming in colors like Super Black and Sterling Blue. It will be measuring 148.34 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm and its weight will be 163 grams.
It is expected to arrive with a 5.2-inch screen that will support full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The screen of the phone will be protected by Gorilla Glass. The Snapdragon 630 chipset will be powering the smartphone.
Below the display is the fingerprint scanner and the top bezel houses a 16-megapixel f/2.0 aperture selfie snapper with 1 micron pixel size. The Adaptive Low Light mode will make it possible for the selfie camera to snap impressive low-light shots. The front-facing camera is capable of shooting full HD videos at 60 fps and 4K videos at 30 fps.
Motorola Moto X4 will be arriving with a dual rear camera system that will include a 12-megapixel f/2.0 aperture with 1.4 micro pixel size and an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture with 1.12 micron pixel size. The dual-LED flash can be positioned at the top of the circular shaped rear camera housing. The dual camera system is equipped with phase detection autofocus and has the ability to add depth to the images.
A 3,000mAh non-replaceable battery will be powering the Motorola Moto X4. It will be coming with TurboCharging feature from Motorola. Like other Motorola smartphones, it will be also arriving with Moto Actions, Moto Display and Moto Voice.
The Moto X4 will be coming in multiple versions. The Moto X4 with 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32 GB will be available in the Europe, North America and Latin America. The Moto X4 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage will be hitting Asia-Pacific markets.
