Apple iPhone 8’s Virtual Home Button May Possess Ability To Resize / Hide on Its Own

The HomePod firmware has revealed plenty of features of the upcoming iPhone 8 such as iris sensors, removal of Touch ID feature, 4k video shooting and SmartCamera function. It has been now found that the iPhone 8 would be coming with a virtual Home button that can resize on its own according to the different tasks on the phone.
According to Steven Troughton-Smith who unearthed several features of IPhone 8 through HomePod firmware, the “periphery” area of the user interface of the iPhone 8 can expand/minimize and show/hide the virtual Home button on its iPhone 8 on its own. Under the periphery area will be the tab bars. When a user plays a video in full-screen mode, the Home button controls will hide automatically.

The firmware code has also revealed that the iPhone 8 will be coming with a split status bar. This probably includes a FaceTime camera and some sensors sitting between the two corners of the OLED screen. These corners are expected to display network strength and a battery indicator.
Two leaked videos that were alleged shot at a Foxconn plant have appeared. Both the low-quality video shows the purported iPhone 8, but does not reveal much about the highly anticipated iPhone of this year. Both videos show gives an unclear appearance of the backside of the alleged phone which suggests that it will be coming with vertical dual rear cameras and it does not feature a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

The iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus that are speculated to launch alongside the iPhone 8 are expected to come with glass rear and wireless charging feature. Rumors suggest that the iPhone 8 will be more enticing than the iPhone 7S duo as it will be coming with a revolutionary design and numerous features. Fresh information suggest that the iPhone 8 would be coming in a premium color option of Blush Gold that appears like darker edition of Rose Gold color.  This premium color option is said to be only available on the 64 GB and 128 GB models of the iPhone 8.

Here is a video that show that the iPhone 8 dummy units in three colors like white, black and copper gold (Blush Gold). The video compares the dummy unit with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus units.
