HTC U11 Plus, U11 Life Android One Pegged to Launch on November 2

HTC has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on 2nd November. The rumor mill has revealed that the Taiwanese company will be debuting the HTC U11 Plus and HTC U11 Life Android One smartphone at the forthcoming unveil event.

HTC U11 Plus Specifications and Features

HTC U11 Plus flagship specs is speculated to arrive as the first full screen phone from the company. It is expected to house a 6-inch display that will deliver an aspect ratio of 18:9 and QHD+ resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 pixels. The Snapdragon 835 chipset is speculated to power the smartphone.
It is expected to arrive in two models: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB UFS 2.1 storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage. Both the models are expected to arrive with microSD card slot for additional storage. A 4,000mAh battery that will be enabled with Quick Charger 3.0 (9V/2A) is expected to fuel the U11 Plus.

The rear side of the phone will feature a fingerprint reader. There will be a 12-megapixel camera above it and the frontside will be housing an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It is expected to arrive preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo. Like the HTC U11, it is speculated to arrive with pressure-sensitive frame to support the Edge Sense feature. Also, it will be arriving with an IP68 rated chassis. Some of its other features include Hi-Res audio recording, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. It is unlikely to feature a 3.5mm audio jack.

HTC U11 Life Android One Specifications and Features

According to reputed leakster Roland Quandt, the HTC U11 Life is speculated as the first Android One to arrive with Android 8.0 Oreo preloaded. It will be a mid-range phone as it will be featuring specs like 5.2-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 630 chipset and 3 GB of RAM. For storage, it will be coming with 32 GB ROM and microSD slot.

The 16-megapixel rear camera of the HTC U11 Life is said to arrive with features like recording in RAW format and HDR support. Its front will be enabled with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Both the cameras are rumored to carry support for 4K video shooting. Other features of the smartphone include IP67 certified body with squeezable frame, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. HTC will be providing USonic headphones with the phone that can be connected to its USB-C port.
The HTC U11 Life is rumored to arrive in two colors: Ice White and Blue Sapphire. It is expected to launch in Germany with a pricing of 400 euros (~$472).
