Rumor has it that Google is working on a new version of Nexus One designed specially for the developing markets like India. The Indianised Nexus One would be a scaled down version of the phone. Although it would not be power-packed, but less features obviously mean lower prices!!!

Verizon has managed to create great hype for the Droid (with Google’s support thrown in). Partly the drama before launch and the feature set including first time Android 2.0 with Google Navigation helped. So how does the Droid do against the iPhone 3GS? Now thats some serious criticism of the iPhone design. The 3GS carries the same design as the iPhone 3G, which replaces the aluminum back of the 1st Gen iPhone with a plastic. So far we have been hearing that the first Android handset that will become public on 23rd Sept would be priced over $300 (Around $399 or more), however some reports suggest that the same would launch on TMobile @ $199 to compete with the iPhone!
