After Microsoft and Palm got the multitouch magic for the Zune HD and Pre respectively, we [...]

Verizon has managed to create great hype for the Droid (with Google’s support thrown in). Sony Ericsson stunned the world with its latest offering the Xperia X10 that was being rumored since long as project Rachael / or the X3. This time Sony Ericsson has designed the device completely by itself, rather than depending on any ODM like HTC (who made the Xperia X1 for them). And looking at the [...]

by Ankur on August 10, 2009

in All, Reviews

The early Android phones were equipped with a physical QWERTY, while the newer ones like the HTC Magic and the HTC Hero are iPhone like structures with full touchscreen. This adds a challenge to compete with the iPhone UI, something that is already backed by multiple touch.
An interesting comparison of the iPhone and the Android [...]

Now thats some serious criticism of the iPhone design. The 3GS carries the same design as the iPhone 3G, which replaces the aluminum back of the 1st Gen iPhone with a plastic. While IMO the plastic body is much more comfortable than the earlier Aluminum (looks is a different subject, its subjective), HTC’s Chief Innovator [...]

Google Android platform is backed by multiple manufacturers, just like Windows Mobile. However iPhone has managed to catch the market early. While Android is going slow; iPhone has already become a trend-setter.
So would the Gphone catchup with the Apple iPhone?
Informa Telecoms & Media predicts that being open source and with no licensing cost, Android would [...]
