The long ques to buy the iPhone (at times week long) in the US and UK is well known. And as the iPhone launches across the globe marketing depts of all telecom giants are brain storming ways of promoting the much hyped gadget.
Here’s one of the ideas (Storm without Brains as I call it) – Apparently ORANGE (the biggest carrier in Poland) has hired ACTORS to stand in line for the iPhone outside its stores to create a HYPE and attract interest from the general public. It would might have worked much better, had the idea not leaked out to the PRESS (IMO).
Today the iPhone 3G launches in 20 countries (including India).
