Google is all set to gain momentum with Android. And it already has some great plans for the AppStore rival: ‘Android Market’! Apparently the AppStore is tightly held by Apple and developers have limited freedom. However Google’s mantra with Android has been OPEN OPEN OPEN! And thats how they expect to lead with the Android Market.
“Google won’t impose many of the restrictions Apple developers have been grumbling about.”
Rubin also mentioned that users would be given an option to allow Android Market apps for free before paying for it. This approach certainly looks promising. Personally when we test Apps on the iPhone, we really need to think if its worth spending those $$ on it…! If there was any way to test and demo an App before buying it, it certainly would help the sales.
