eReader is an ebook reader for the iPhone and arguably the best. The icing on the cake is that the app is free via the AppStore.
eReader lets you read your eBooks from retailers like eReader.com, Fictionwise.com and thousands of free titles from many other websites. Logging into your account will let you synchronize your purchased eBooks with your iPhone or iPod Touch. Turn the pages by swiping across the screen with your finger (just like you’re turning a page in a book)Manage your ‘bookshelf’ right from your device, no matter where you are. The best part is that you can directly download ebooks from various sites like manybooks.net ereader’s Mobile site etc.
The app is very east to use. Once you open the app just click on add on the top-right. Then selesct the site from which you want to download the ebook and select the ebook by various categories like author, type etc. You will require a internet connection to download the ebook from the sites. As you finish downloading the ebook goto the main menu and you will see your ebook. Double tap on it and it will open. Then you have various options to change the font and its size as per your convenience. You can search pages on the ebook by typing a text. You also have an option to change the page gesture, orientation and statusbar. You also have an animation for turning pages for making it look attractive.
The only downside to this application is that you’re only allowed to read the books from your eReader.com account(or one of the other compatible sites). However m not sure how easy it is to upload your own eBooks to those websites but I could see that being a great feature.
