Nano rumors are out in dozens since December last year. And they still aren’t dying. We had concluded that accessory makers were probably just cashing in on the Macworld hype by naming the iPhone Nano. But another report now seems to support them.
Apparently Apple has finalized two suppliers Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) and plans to start production of the new entry level / low cost iPhone in March. With a launch target, of June / July.
While this is again a rumor, this time its not some unreliable accessory maker giving out the details. Also, the timeline suggested this time looks real as iPhone 3G would be a year old and the competition for the iPhone is also on a continuous rise.
