While the previous version of clippy 0.9.5-4 got it out of beta, there were many bugs that were present. However, a quick upgrade has been rolled out, and the version 0.9.5-5 of Clippy is much better.
The new version adds a quick paste button above the stack. Instead of opening the Stack and choosing the text to paste, this quick paced button pastes the last copied text.
Clippy allows you to copy any text! I can see the Copy option even inside the AppStore descriptions (app descriptions). This is also irritating as the copy window opens up unexpectedly and gets irritating at times. See screenshot below.
We are seeing the same option in safari aswell. If this works perfect, this would mean that Clippy would easily copy paste text from iPhone Mobile Safari. However, the App is currently crashing Safari as soon as you try to copy something – Though you on second attempt it copies text from safari aswell. Clippy copies a single para at a time.
Clippy now also works on Mail app. Copies the entire mail on one click 🙂
The app replaces CopierCIN compeltely. Some little bug fixes and this could be the Copy/Paste tool we always wanted!
