Taliban Leader Mullah Abdul Salaam Zaeef loves the iPhone. During the harsh Taliban rule in Afghanistan use of such modern technology was banned, but in recent years things have changed.
TazaKino reports that Zaeef uses his iPhone to surf the Internet and find difficult locations putting the inbuilt GPS to good use. He even checks his bank account balance online.
”I’m using the Internet with it. Sometimes I use it for the GPS to find locations.”
Zaeef was the Taliban ambassador to Pakistan before the US invasion of Afghanistan and has written a book “A Picture of Guantanamo,” detailing his claims of mistreatment at Guantanamo by US forces.
