BGR and Macrumors have some more shots of the new iPhone 3.0, this confirms a Video recording application in the new iPhone OS. The video recording toggle can be seen on the bottom of the screenshot above. Also, seen is a digital compass on the left.

The video recording is not presently functional in iPhone 3.0 beta, and the interface is not accessible by default. Only when configuration files were modified telling the firmware that a Video Camera was present will this interface appear. [MacRumors].
