iPhone 3 is coming, and rumors are flooding the www. The latest being about iPhone HD, ever since Microsoft NVIDIA Tegra powered ZUNE HD plans were leaked on the net, I was wondering why hasn’t any Apple rumor come out yet to counter that :P. So here it comes…
According to reports Apple is phasing out the Composite AV, and Component AV cables to make way for a universal cable pack that would also support HD output from the upcoming iPod Touches and iPhones.
Apart from the upcoming ZUNE HD, the HTC Touch Diamond 2 and Touch Pro 2 already support HD. Many other mobile devices are now supporting 720p or 1080i recording /output / playback. It makes sense for Apple to accomodate this feature early.
However, knowing Apple – I beleive that the iPhone that we would see in June / July won’t support HD, but we should expect another iPhone towards the end of the year with that 5MP camera and HD.
