I absolutely love the iPhone for its web browsing capabilities, mobile safari combined with the Touch features is great. But one thing that is bugging me off late is the deactivation of accelerometer if we are on the URL editing bar (i.e. in between editing the URL on the address bar).
Though this is good as you won’t accidentally end up moving from portrait to landscape while typing, but I often find myself hitting the address bar to edit first and then tilting the iPhone sideways to get the bigger keyboard. That, just doesn’t happen when the URL edit is on. Hope Apple can add this missing feature on Mobile Safari in the upcoming firmware version 3.0.
