iPhone 3 is coming and coming for sure this June/July. There isn’t any doubt about that. And here comes another confirmation by someone who claims to have gotten his hands on a real iPhone 3rd Generation hardware. According to the same posted in some Chinese forums, the next iPhone hardware will not deviate from the current structure and will add these features:
- 3.2 Mp Camera
- Digital Compass / Magnetometer
- FM (I doubt this!)
- 600MHz Processor – versus the 400Mhz currently in use
- 16Gb and 32GB models (the leaked screenshot shows 32GB version)
- 256 MB ram, compared to the 128MB seen in current iPhones
Since Apple plans to make all OS 2.x apps compatible with the iPhone 3.0, we are sure that the current display size of 3.5″ would be retained. This goes with the Apple philosophy of making things easy for the developers (the buttons are done away with for the same reason). Almost all of these features have been rumored before and won’t be a surprise to see them. The above screen shot also lists iPhone 3 model no as MB717LL which is not officially seen on any Apple product as of now.
As for the Apple Netbook, it has been confirmed (at least by this rumor) to be using 9.7″ touchscreens. Now if, that’s a netbook or a mediabook as rumored before, we cannot be very certain. But excited!
