Now that’s some serious criticism of the iPhone design. The 3GS carries the same design as the iPhone 3G, which replaces the aluminum back of the 1st Gen iPhone with a plastic. While IMO the plastic body is much more comfortable than the earlier Aluminum (looks is a different subject, its subjective), HTC’s Chief Innovator Horace Luke cites the iPhone’s body as slippery watermelon seed to justify the Teflon coat on the HTC Hero.
Hero is the first Android device from HTC that brings in its own UI tweaks, thus departing from the Google branding and standardization. Google has clarified earlier that manufacturers are open to use Android as they like … a Yahoo branded Android is also technically possible … ;).
