AT&T has confirmed that it is enabling support for MMS on the iPhone 3G / 3Gs from the 25th of September. This makes one thing certain, a firmware upgrade is coming by 25th for sure. Though MMS will show up this month, official support for tethering is still in the dark. The official worlds say it will come up sometime ‘in the future’. According to AT&T, it hosts more iPhone users than anywhere else in the world. And given the web capabilities and usage pattern of the iPhone, it sure is a mega task to satisfy these millions of bandwidth hungry users.
