An interesting observation at Macrumors show that the teardown pictures of the Apple prototype iPod touch 3G as seen before (with camera) matches with the actual iPod touch launched last week. Just that the actual launch didn’t have a camera, but still leaving out a small patch thats enough to accommodate a camera. This makes us think towards the direction that Apple did flirt with the idea of having a camera on the iPod touch and even went ahead to create some prototypes while toying with the idea.Though it would be interesting to see how the iPod touch 3G without the camera is received by the audience and what Apple does next!
