Are you just fed up with all these rumors about the Apple Tablet, emerging from different sources, bouncing back and forth, making it hard to speculate the truth behind any of them? Well what are we going to do about it? Apparently ValleyWag is pretty annoyed to the extent that they are willing to pay up to $100,000 reward for whoever makes it possible for them, to get their hands on one of these Tablet devices.
“We’ve had enough of trying to follow all the speculation around Apple’s impending tablet how it’ll work, its size, the name, the software and whether it will save magazines. We want answers, dammit! And we’re willing to pay.”
—ValleyWag—
Not to make it too impossible, ValleyWag is offering other rewards for easier tasks:
ValleyWag is willing to pay:
- $10,000 for bona fide pictures
- $20,000 for video of one in action
- $50,000 for pictures or video of Steve Jobs holding one
- $100,000 to let us play with one for an hour
Well, Are ValleyWag’s actions to be considered legal?
According to TechCrunch, who claims to have spoken to a lawyer, stated that Apple could have a claim against Valleywag for “inducing breach of contract”. Why is that you ask? It is certain that anyone who has their hands on the tablet is bounded by a nondisclosure agreement.
Having to announce such activity, ValleyWag is quite aware what they might be getting into.
