We certainly aren’t used to Apple leaking such meaty details so easily, but as it seems there is a mention of the January 27th event in the Apples agreement with iPhone app developers. This update to the developer agreement hasn’t leaked any specific details, but just lists “Placeholder Agreement: Need to update this for the 27th launch”.
One thing this certainly confirms is that there would be an update of somekind to the iPhone / iPod touch OS which very well hints that the iTablet would run a modded version of the Apple tablet! We have heard rumors before that certain selected App developers have been asked to make their apps scale to a larger screen, but nothing for certain was said. Jobs’ philosophy has been to keep things simple with no buttons and standard size in the iPod touch/ iPhone to enable better software development. This should be true for the Tablet aswell.
