I was just checking iH8sn0w’s website, and there I found useful utility for jailbreakers by name f0recast. f0recast is a tool for Windows that will check your iPods and iPhones to determine whether it is tethered, or unlock-able (iPhone Only). It is just a real simple app for users who are confused about their device being tethered or able to unlock.
It even tells iPhone user’s their Boot loader, so if you are an iPhone 3G user with the 5.8 Bootloader, it will notify you that you can downgrade your baseband if you wish to unlock. f0recast supports all iDevices.
All you need to download it on your PC and run the exe but before that make sure that you’ve .NET Framework 2.0 or higher and iTunes 9.0 is installed on your PC. Just Plug your iDevice and run the F0recast.exe to get all the details.
