Apparently a misplaced / lost / stolen iPhone 4th Gen prototype has found its way to the hands of folks over at Gizmodo. This is the same device that I doubted to be original some time back, but it seems that investigation by Gizmodo reveals otherwise. They have claimed that the device boots to a iTunes screen and several other details have emerged.
- 3gms more weight than the 3GS
- 16% larger battery
- ceramic / plastic type flat bed back cover
- micro sim like in iPad
- larger camera lens with Flash
- smaller screen but better resolution suspected
While I would let go my personal opinion on this for now, the missing link that we are not considering here is the fact that last year a Foxconn employee had committed suicide after misplacing a prototype of the next-gen iPhone. So is Gizmodo playing around with an iPhone 4G linked to this foxconn suicide?
