Last week Planetbeing showed iPhone2G running Android and now he is on the verge of finishing iPhone 3G port. On his blog he showed a picture of an iPhone 3G booting BusyBox / Buildroot shell (BusyBox is a combination of optimized versions of many common UNIX utilities into one package, which let’s the developer interact with the device without having a full GUI environment.). He also said that Wireless network is working fine.
It seems 3G is almost done only 2 things that needs to be fixed, which are:
- OpeniBoot: Which will allow to switch between Android OS and iPhone OS.
- MultiTouch Drivers.
Once these things are fixed we’ll have a working port of Android.
iPhone 3G users, countdown begins. I cant wait to see my iPhone 3G running Android…:D
