On This Day is a very simple and straight forward app telling you about just exactly what the name sounds like, on the happenings on This Day in History.
On This Day gives a exhaustive list of all the births, deaths and important Events which happened in that day of mention. It’s a nice app the interface is good and can always come useful in socializing to show off your knowledge of history 😉
The app requires an active internet connection to fetch the details, however once the events for a particular date is fetched, it gets cached in the app locally. Works on the iPod touch, iPhone and the Apple iPad!
