We tested out the nes4iPhone app on our iPad, it is brilliant, lot of fun but really very hard to get it running. It took me some time to understand what I have to do to get the app working. Although, it was a real pain, I have to agree that this is one of the best Cydia apps I have used as it bets back my childhood gaming memories.
The nes4iPhone is a Nintendo emulator for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. It has complete sound emulation, support for Wiimote, fast CPU emulation and it uses Open GLES 2.0 libraries. The emulator supports .N64 and .Z64 along with .gz and .zip archives. the games we checked out were Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong 64. All the games worked fine without any errors.
Sadly, to get the app working right you will have to pay $2.49 U.S. through the Cydia Store. I believe this small amount wont do much of a harm and will also help support the brilliant developers to develop similar apps.
