Well many of had plans of installing Android on iPhone, but then the installation was somewhat difficult and most of you got confused with the steps that were required to install the Android OS on your iPhone. Well, even I was not able to make the Android OS work on the first attempt it took me around three attempts to get t working and based on my experience I wrote a tutorial on how to install Android. Although, I tried to make it as easy and simple as possible it ended up in to a really long process. But now I have a good news for those who don’t want to follow such lengthy steps to install the Android OS on their iPhone. There is an application called ‘iPhoDroid‘ which automates all the process required to install the Android on your Apple device. Now you don’t need to worry about WIFI drivers and there is no need to transfer files via SSH as it does all the required things on its own.
iPhoDroid only works on Mac and you will also need Macfuse installed. It supports jailbroken iPhone 2G or 3G with firmware 3.1.2. iPhoDroid is currently on Beta 0.5 (download it) and soon the developer will release the next version 0.6. You can follow the developer on twitter for updates about iPhoDroid.
